DIN 6799 Snap Ring

DIN 6799 retaining rings, also known as 'E rings' or 'click rings,' are spring-loaded fastening elements that are installed on shafts. They ensure the proper positioning of bearing and guiding components on the shaft. With their 'E' shaped design, they sit on the outside of the shaft and provide a secure grip through lateral pressure. Typically made from steel, these rings can be coated for corrosion resistance.
